Hey guys and girls....
We need some ideas for the next Carnage LAN.....
So lets brainstorm....
I would like to know do you think we can get more that 100 ppl there?
Need to change venue? and where?
Who can we ask for prize sponsorship?
So pls comment if you have ideas

I have got an few ideas.
Games played : Draw up a schedule for different games played. Previous LAN was fun but you can only Play so much COD4. So.. how about some
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
HAWX
Trackmania
UT2004
UT3
Toca 3
F1 Racing
Even something stupid like BaboViolent or Soldat
Take a certain time.. Call everyone who wants to play the games together and set out teams for games. Play different games that all play. That is what we did at other LANs I went to.
O yes.. as for DC++. Only put on the server on after like 23:00

you cant put dc server on after 11 that wont go down very well but definitely get some other games going cod4 is getting a bit much now

Mate it has been a long while since I was at Carnage, what I would put on the table is you mite wanna look into inviting some of the old crowd to Carnage. A phone call goes a long way... Hi Skat how goes it with you and yes COD4 is getting a bit much!!! You may wanna try a Crysis game.....

I think the last lan was pretty awesome. was fun chillin outside 4 a bit also and gettin 2 know all of you guys n gals. I'll help out your lans as much as i can in the future, will try atract a crowd, i kinda do tho already :P Let me know if theres somethin i can do in that department. The UT2004 game was fun :D and the cstrike!
Maybe a venue change. How bout the church at n1? where the old urban assaults were?

That church wants allot of money and they wanna alshow want us to be there only for a night like urban assault and that will only be at 1800 friday then we need to leave the sat 2300B!!!

I agree on the venue change. Ive been looking around but its hard to find a decent venue so if anyone knows of something please let me know.
In the pipeline is a definite redesign of the website. It reflects too much of the old carnage (and all negatives that goes with it) not even talking about the bugs  and I think its time to create our image as carnage.REINCARNATED  or something to that effect
Attract a crowd  Then we should put you to good use

bru... honestly... as a guest at carnage... im payin a shit load 4 entrance. the way to attract people is cheaper entrance, but if u keep charging so much try n incorporate that "internet at lan" idea again!

Yeah I know its expensive... but otherwise we cant afford the hall (I had to pay money out of my own pocket at the last lan... like R1000).
Internet I can do though 
Im still looking for a new venue closer to bellville... so if anybody knows about one please let me know. Preferably not churches as they need to have church on sundays and the we cant lan

COD4 is cool but what about UT3 or UT2004 i think it is the most appropriate because of its competition based idea. Oh don't forget battlefield 2 which is also a wicked game.
What if we don't have a specific game do you sell us a copy or must we first go buy it??
Why not also try C&C Generals or Tib Wars or BFME2

I dont think all the games you mentioned will work on everyone's PC's.
We could try UT3 if it runs on all the PC's...
UT2004 is a problem. It bombs out when you have to many ppl connecting with double CD keys.
Most ppl go for shooting FPS games to play at a LAN.
I would personally like a 5vs5 CSS game.
Someone would need to get a LAN version and updated.

the Industry is to get as many ppl to this LAN and Get sponsor for the LAN that we all can enjoy it as a fun gaming ppl and there is games that we play for fun!!!

Ok, I do get what you guys are saying.
We must figure out what Carnage does/offers best.
What Carnage Customers likes/Interested in/want.
We must find out where new customers will come from.
We must find out about the market, as in types of lanners.
We need a budget report, venue, systems and all that for a new venue in northern suburbs.
I will also be scouting venues and so on.
We must investigate on the Lan industry and ways on publicity.
Do an N.E.A.D.S analyst.
N: What do other lans offer. What does Carnage offer *now*?
E: What do lanners enjoy about lans. What is *enjoyed mostly* at Carnage?
A: What would lanners change from lans that is currently available. What would lanners change at Carnage?
D: Who makes the final Decisions?
S: How can Carnage find the best solutions for lanners needs?

You are absolutely correct.
Now here me out please, in order to get lanners or any type of person to come to an event, you need marketing as your back-bone for success.
Now we should work out ways of *professional free/low cost* advertizing for the masses. I will come up with some concepts and privately pm CountZeo with them as this is key to any lan’s success. Don't just advertize like other lans do, on forums or websites. Then take not to please refrain from spam advertizing as it is not professional to go to a forum posting, “come lan, it is so awesomeness.”
Take a professional approach; find your markets as we get lanners of all kind. We need to make people not only aware there is a company offering a brilliant laning service, where your small investment of R80 for three days will leave you hungry for more and the next coming one but also your marketing must create a want, hunger that was not there before for lanning.
